Katy Kellogg formed Kellogg Smith in 1993 following 12 years in commercial banking where she was a VP and District Manager with Citibank. Katy’s strong banking relationships and financial analysis expertise were a natural lead into group insurance products. Second to finance, Katy’s education and passion revolves around marketing and communication. Katy personally develops and oversees all employee education and communication materials to ensure benefits are understood and the value of the plans quantified. All employee benefit communications and enrollment presentations are provided in English and Spanish. While enrollment occurs once a year, Kellogg Smith provides education and employee advocacy all year long. We assist your employees in answering benefit questions and resolving claim disputes. We deliver plan value and improve employee satisfaction.
In March of 2004, Katy's husband, Michael Smith joined the firm after a distinguished 20 year career with two leading life and disability insurance carriers. Michael brings the additional perspective of carrier underwriting and an intimate knowledge of life and disability contracts. Additionally, Michael was a Regional Sales Director for a web based enrollment company that launched Kellogg Smith into providing technology solutions for employee benefit websites and online enrollment.
